Room Mapping

I went to the British Museum’s room 1, on the Enlightenment. I learned a few valuable things. First, TapMeasure doesn’t appreciate large, somewhat dim rooms. Each of my attempts to record the room ended up with walls that didn’t line up. This is my closest approximation. Second, it’s hard to judge very tall walls.

While doing the rubbing, I also learned some lessons. Trees, pavement, and whatever the fence walls on the British Museum are made of all have similar looking textures. It’s hard to record curved objects, and frottage is fun!
